In Teaching Skills Part 1, participants explore concepts and incorporate skillsrelated to teaching and facilitating learning. Concepts are presented in whole group sessions. However, most of the course time is spent in collaborative learning groups of 6‐8 participants with 1‐2 facilitators who stay together throughout the course. Individuals bring teaching challenges to their learning group, use reflection, dialogue, and feedback to get others’ perspectives, practice the skills being learned, and observe others. Part 2 of Teaching Skills is individualized to participant needs and is based upon their experience from Part 1. Participants continue to apply and deepen concepts and skills learned in Part 1, while addressing new content areas. As in Part 1, most of the course time is spent in collaborative learning groups of 6‐8 participants with 1‐2 facilitators who stay together throughout the course.
