Learn from Johns Hopkins experts demonstrating evidence-based virtual physical examinations. The Johns Hopkins Telemedicine Education Consortium was formed in March 2020, drawing on the expertise of Johns Hopkins providers and faculty from all specialties across the organization to study, cultivate, and promote the highest clinical standards in telemedicine. Our “living library” offers practical and relevant clinical skills demonstrated by renowned experts in their respective fields. Video content and best practice recommendations will continue to grow and evolve. Earn Level 1 Certificate of Completion.

Who Should Attend

This activity is intended for all practicing health care professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

Program Objectives

  • Outline and adhere to the new updates to regulations practices for primary and ambulatory care topics presented in this series. 
  • Outline and apply new updates to best practices for primary and ambulatory value-based care topics presented in this series. 
  • Describe the application of Evidence Based Practice (EBP) in primary and ambulatory care for the topics presented in this series. 
  • Formulate inter-professional collaboration and eduation to support Team-Based Practice in primary and ambulatory care based on what was presented in this series.

Course Format - Method of Participation

Each activity in the enduring material is expected to take approximately 0.5 hours to complete. Once the activity is completed, you must pass the post-test and complete the evaluation with attestation to receive CME credit. 

How to Obtain CME Credit

CME credit for this course will be issued through the central CME system for Johns Hopkins, CloudCME. Once a learner has completed the course, their CME transcript will updated within 7 business days and can be accessed at https://hopkinscme.cloud-cme.com/.

Learning Prerequisites

There are no specific course prerequisites. You will need to have English language fluency.

Technical Prerequisites

The course will take place on the Canvas LMS (Canvas.jhu.edu). You will need the ability to log on to the platform, preferably using Google Chrome, to complete the content, which will include videos, readings, and assignments. You may also need to take part in other activities on Canvas.jhu.edu.

  • Hardware requirements: computer; webcam; microphone and speakers or headset.
  • Software requirements: Google Chrome web browser; access to Canvas.jhu.edu; Zoom web conferencing; Microsoft Office or similar; email

Post-Test

A post-test will be conductedd at the conclusion of each activitry. A score of at least 70% within three attempts is needed to receive CME credit.
